Celebrating 20 years of natural science and environmental education, the Ocean Isle Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium Foundation is hosting a Wine Fest 2012 on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. This fundraiser features wines from three vineyards in North Carolina’s own Yadkin Valley, tasty treats from local restaurants such as Sharky’s, Causeway Gourmet, and Fibber McGees, a live auction, a silent auction, and a chance to socialize with friends and neighbors while supporting the Ocean Isle Museum Foundation, Inc. Located in the Piedmont area of North Carolina, the Yadkin Valley is rapidly gaining a reputation for its high-quality grapes and award-winning wines.
