A - Yes, Sunset Beach is nice. There is plenty of space without the standard crowds and tourists. The beach reaches from NC coast to Ocean Isle Beach.

A - No, but it does have a long fishing pier that is open to the public.

Q - Is it safe to swim at Sunset Beach, NC?

A - Yes, the water is perfect for all ages for recreational swimming. We only advise that you do not go swimming near the fishing pier for your own safety.

Q - Is Sunset Beach Dog Friendly?

A - Yes, but your dog needs to be on a leash at all times. During the busier season (Memorial Day through Labor Day) dogs are not allowed on the beach from 8am to 6pm. There are several Dog-Friendly establishments throughout Sunset Beach.
