Upcoming Blue Crab Festival Promises Good Times For All

The 33rd Annual Blue Crab Festival takes place in Little River, SC from May 17-18, 2014. This world famous event draws over 50,000 people every year to support the communities of Little River, North Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand. The festival is held on the waterfront in Little River from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. The Blue Crab Festival is easily one of the largest festivals in the southeast every spring and is a bike-friendly event you won't want to miss. Come enjoy over 200 fine arts and crafts vendors, lots of entertainment, specialty food vendors and a fun-filled children's area. Entertainment for this year's festival includes performances by Fahren height on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon, Sea Cruz on Saturday from 12 noon to 3 p.m. and Gary Lowder & Smokin' Hot from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. On Sunday the Craig Woolard Band & The Embers will perform from 12 noon to 3 p.m. and Jim Quick & Coastline from 3 to 6 p.m. Advance ticket sales are available at the Little River Chamber of Commerce, North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, People's Community Bank in Little River and all First Federal locations on the Grand Strand. Price is $3 for 1-day advance ticket and $5 for two day advance ticket. This is directly across from the Blue Crab Festival and will be held on Saturday, May 17 only from 10 a.m. until non. There will be free coffee and donuts and Blessed Bikers get $2 off the admission to the festival.
