On The Beach In September
352 E 1st Street was a real pleasant surprise. An older Blue Ribbon on the beach rental. Fully equipped with every conceivable kitchen utensil and small appliance. More than sufficient supply of matching place settings, glass and stemware and flatware for the group. Ice maker in wash/dryer room a real plus. Everything appeared used as expected, but unit was well cleaned, presentable and comfortable. Supplied with all the necessary beach paraphernalia, chairs, umbrella, toys. Spacious front porch and large rambling deck and boardwalk overlooking the ocean both had plenty of chairs, benches and table. Plenty of board games and reading material for the rainy days were found. Electronic equipment was first class, although only one DVD player was found in one of the bedrooms. The WiFi signal was strong and no hassle to connect to throughout the property. Three outside showers to wash the sand away before returning to the house. We found this unit to be a good bargain. The only real minus were the appearance of the grounds in front of the unit which could have been kept up better. When we first drove up we though, Oh No! but once inside the unit we were relieved at what we found.- Anonymous , Posted: 09/22/2011
Most relaxing week I've had away from life in over ten years
Our extended family of 13 enjoyed this house and location immensely! The journeys we each took to come from 4 different areas in the U.S. were well worth the effort. It was hard to imagine so many different liefestyles being able to share the same space, but it worked beautifully with the design of this house and the fact that the beach was right out our back door. All the ammenities this house provided in the kitchen were also beyond what this cooking Mom expected - all my meal plans were easily accomplished. The only reason we had for leaving this house during the week of our stay was to take small trips to the grocery and one night for putt-putt. My husband is not the type of person to enjoy sitting around without something to do, but he amazed himself with how much he enjoyed doing just that and tells me he is more than ready to do it again. All in all, it was a great family reunion success and one we hope to continue to relive again in the future. Ocean Isle Beach - sunrise to sunset - best scenery ever!- Anonymous , Posted: 09/16/2011
