Took a chance - would consider staying again
Wanted to leave a review especially because there were none when we booked it and there were minimal pictures, but we were late to decide to vacation for spring break so there weren't many options. The location/views and layout of the unit were great. There were not any pics of the bathrooms, so I was unsure of what we were getting into (especially with kids), but they were in good condition (still builder standards). The master tub looks a little sad but the double sinks in the master were a nice plus. There is one bedroom (the king bed that's not the master) with its own outside door and has its own wall unit for A/C and heat (it's not connected to the central unit for the rest of the unit) and it was a little loud at night. That bedroom also has its own microwave/mini-fridge. The kitchen was nicely stocked, but there were only 3 real mugs (one of them looked like it was a soup mug). There was a set of glass mugs, but I never found them to keep the heat well (and they look like they don't wash well), so you may want to consider bringing some mugs. There was not a porch swing like the description said (it was on the neighbor's side of the porch). There was wireless internet, and it worked for the Roku and kids tablets, but there were some mornings my husband and I needed to work and it was extremely slow. It even dropped a Zoom meeting. (Not that you want to work at the beach, but if it helps to know.) Oh, and what looks like a mini-fridge in the bar area is actually a commercial ice maker - which was extremely helpful! Two other notes: Some blinds along the back did not work well or were flat-out missing and some of the light switches did not connect to anything - you have to go into the room to turn on the lamp. Overall, we would stay here again but would probably look for other options first.
