Windjammer 3E

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. Very clean upon arrival. Excellent accommodations with a beautiful king suite and full bath, along with two other spacious bedrooms. We are a family of 5 and didn’t feel cramped, ever. Kitchen appliances seem to be very new. Awesome view of the ocean from the two balconies - we spent our “happy hours” out there every late afternoon and evening. Very easy access to the beach. Additional great features of Windjammer are the carts provided to move your bags from your car to the elevator and room with just a couple of trips and no carrying, as well as a couple of showers and hoses to spray off sand after being on the beach. The pool is large and clean with lights for nighttime swimming. Though we didn’t use them, the owner generously shares things like boogie boards, beach chairs and a beach umbrella. 5/5 stars!

We arrived home after spending a week in this unit. Yes, updates have been done as in appliance, bathroom counters. Nice shower in master bedroom. However, the furniture and all beds need replacing. All were uncomfortable and some came away with sore backs. I paid too much money to be as uncomfortable as we were. Elevator in this place gave out twice. Thankfully, all were able to climb three flights. The view from balcony is beautiful but for the price the whole unit should be wonderful. Pictures of furniture were misleading as the furniture cushions look nice but are not. Beds are too low by today's standards and the one in the master bedroom was squeaky. This the second time I've stayed at the WJ. First time was great for my husband and I in a different unit. But with other families joining us this time it's going to be the last. Tiki bar would be good for teens, I suppose. Again, tiki bar wouldn't be a reason to go back to this unit.
