Ocean Isle Beach & Sunset Beach Rental FAQs
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. and check-out is at 10:00 a.m. Keys or keyless door codes are released once the home has been cleaned and inspected, and your rental account must be paid in full. Keyless entry codes are emailed the day before arrival.
Where do I pick up my keys?
Ocean Isle Beach: 16 Causeway Drive, the second office building on the right after crossing the bridge. Sunset Beach and Sunset Beach golf course: 420 Sunset Boulevard S, the first office building on the right after crossing the bridge.
Can I check in early or after hours?
A limited number of 2:00 p.m. early check-ins are available for $75 and must be requested at least 30 days before arrival. If you arrive after the office closes, keys are left in a lock box at the Sunset Beach office or at the Ocean Isle Inn, 37 West First Street (Ocean Isle Beach arrivals). Call ahead for the lock box code. Late check-in is not available if your reservation has a balance.
Do you have pet-friendly vacation rentals?
Yes. A selection of our Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach homes allow dogs for a one-time, non-refundable fee of $250 per dog. Pets are not permitted in homes that are not designated pet friendly. Service animals are not considered pets. Both towns enforce leash and pet waste laws. Browse pet-friendly rentals.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel for any reason, payments are forfeited unless the property is re-rented for the full cancelled period at the full rental amount. If re-rented, your payment is refunded minus the reservation fee and a $150 cancellation fee. Fees charged by third-party booking sites are not refundable. We recommend travel insurance to protect your trip.
Do you recommend travel insurance?
