41st Annual North Carolina Oyster Festival

One of the most popular events here in Ocean Isle Beach is the oyster festival. This year, the 41st Annual North Carolina Oyster Festival is being held from October 15-16th. Come celebrate everything “Oyster” as the island of Ocean Isle Beach will be transformed into a walking district offering a variety of foods, crafts, contests, and musical performances.

While planning your trip to the festival - be sure to check out the Sloane Vacations website for your accommodations. We have condos and homes available for 2+ night stays that sleep from 2-20!

The festival kicks off Friday night here on the island with a concert by The Entertainers beginning at 6pm. Bring your favorite beach chair and kick back at OIB Town Center Park and enjoy the band and the ocean breeze. Make sure you wear your comfy shoes because a dance line always breaks out in front of the stage!

Saturday Schedule:

9am: Festival Opens

9:30am - Noon: Split Shot from Greenville SC hits the stage with a variety of fun music to warm up the festival

Noon - 3pm: Terry Douglas will entertain the crowd with his award winning Outlaw County

3pm - 6pm: Gary Lowder & Smokin’ Hot will fill the fairgrounds with blues and soul

6pm: Festival Closes
