Phlock to the Beach on Oak Island
Phlock to the Beach - "A Buffett Style Beach Bash" is being held on August 23 - 24, 2013 in Oak Island.
Jimmy Buffett themed events include:
- Dress Like A Parrot Head Pub Crawl on Friday night
- Beach Party Volleyball on Saturday
- Bocce Ball Tournaments on Saturday
- A concert at the Cape Fear Regional Jetport Saturday night
- Pancake Breakfast on Sunday
The Concert at the Airport will feature two top-rock style bands: Latitude from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. and Key Lime Pie from 7 p.m.-10 p.m.
There will be food and beverages, games for the children and fun contests for all ages voted on by the crowd such as the Miss Latitude and Mr. Longitude, Jimmy Buffett Look A Like and a Little Miss & Mr. Parakeet.

Holden Beach Concert
A Holden Beach Concert will be held on Sunday, August 25. Parrot Party will perform a Jimmy Buffett Tribute. Concerts are held at the Pavilion at the end of Jordan Boulevard on Holden Beach. Concerts start at 6:30 p.m. and are free. Weather permitting.
